A Chapter of Region XI of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Welcome to the Saskatoon Chapter of ASHRAE! We are an organization committed to promoting dialogue among designers, owners, sales representatives, distributors, tradespeople, academics, and students.  Our chapter provides a platform for regular social gatherings where members can engage in discussions and expand their knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration sciences through presentations, events, and tours. 

Our Committees

Student Activities

 Develops a comprehensive program for the educational community for the purpose of promoting and encouraging engineering and HVAC&R careers. It administers and promotes student activities at all levels in the educational system.

Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA)

Enhances member benefits for young professional ASHRAE members, 35 years old and younger, by identifying, creating, and supporting activities and services focused on their needs. A primary focus of the committee will be attracting and developing YEA members for future membership and leadership in ASHRAE and the HVAC&R industry.

Women in ASHRAE

Provides leadership opportunities for women within ASHRAE and a platform for networking to support the retention of women in the HVAC&R industry.

Research Promotion

Plans and implements programs within the Society to generate funds to support ASHRAE research, YEA, Education (ALI), ASHRAE Foundation, Scholarships, and the General Fund. This committee reports to Members Council.

Chapter Technology Transfer

Provides our Chapter members a connection to the technical and research advancements achieved by ASHRAE at a Society level. 

Grassroots Government Activities

Responsible for organizing ASHRAE members to educate local, state, provincial, and national government bodies and officials in areas of interest to ASHRAE members, and to promote effective cooperation between ASHRAE members and government.
