Chris Conley and I delivered a lecture and tour to the ME 491 Thermal Systems Design class at the U of S on November 29. The lecture gave an overview of the whole building process from conception to design to construction to occupancy.

The lecture set the students up for the tour of the recently constructed Cameco Operations Centre. Chris gave an excellent tour showcasing the many innovative technologies used in the building and gave the students the opportunity to see, in operation, the systems they've been studying all term.

Student Nights:

As in previous years we will hold two Student Nights during our ASHRAE meetings this fall / spring. However, students are welcome to attend any meeting.

These meetings provide an ideal opportunity for students to learn about our industry and meet potential employers in a relaxed and informal setting.

Students will be charged a reduced dinner fee (only $5) to encourage their attendance.

For more information see the Info for Students and Young Engineers page.
