Did you know that you can travel around North America for ASHRAE?  Various positions on our local board of governors get to travel to ASHRAE events for training or conferences.  We are looking for new people to join our board.

ROSTERS:  The 2011-2012 ASHRAE Saskatoon rosters will be available for pick-up.  Thank you to Daniels-Wingerak Engineering Ltd., ECCO Supply, HVAC Sales (1997) Ltd., Johnson Controls LP, March Consulting Associates Inc., and Polar Refrigeration Services for being the roster sponsors this year.  

As of July 1, 2011, dues for Members and Associates increased to $185.  All new members after this date are provided with a complimentary 12-month subscription to ASHRAE Handbook Online, since they will not receive their print or CD Handbook until June, 2012.  The new members and associates will receive an email message with instructions on how to access their complimentary Handbook Online subscription.  This is a one-time benefit for new members, and at the end of their subscription, they will be prompted to renew to the Handbook Online at the $49 member rate.  If you have accessed the online handbook, let me know what you think.  

We also have a few people who are delinquent in paying their membership.  I will be contacting these members to give a friendly reminder to renew.  If you have received a membership renewal notice in the last few months, please check if you have paid.  If you are planning on not renewing, please let me know the reason.

We have added a Facebook account for ASHRAE Saskatoon news and events.  Let us know if you would be interested in signing up.
