For our May 9 regular meeting, our presentation will be by Dan Int-Hout, an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer. I think the ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer program can be very useful because ASHRAE at a society (international) level pays for the Distinguished Lecturer's travel costs. This means that remote ASHRAE chapters can still have a chance to have great speakers without having to deal with enormous travel costs. It has been fun serving the ASHRAE Saskatoon chapter as chapter historian. I plan to bring some of our chapter's history materials along to the May 9 meeting. See you there. - Jonathan Bushman |
