Hello everyone!

We have a course instructor!  Our ASHRAE Saskatoon annual CTTC (Chapter Technology Transfer Committee) "Fundamentals of Air Design" course's instructor is Chris Conley (and our backup instructor is Ryan MacGillivray, both having served the ASHRAE Saskatoon chapter as presidents and currently working for Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd.).  The tentative course dates are March 26 and 27, which is right around when ASHRAE President Tom Watson will be visiting Saskatoon.  I am working out timing, cost, and location details.  If you have any comments or questions on the CTTC course, then please let me know.

The Canadian Green Building Council (Saskatchewan chapter) is putting on a one-day Passive House course.  Be aware that the deadline to register is February 14.

Introduction To Passive House Design and Construction
The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) Saskatchewan Chapter is offering the first-ever, one-day Passive House course. This intensive day of learning will include expert instruction and content from the Canadian Passive House Institute http://www.passivehouse.ca. It will provide attendees with education on design and construction fundamentals of the Passive House approach, including super insulated envelopes, extreme air tightness and leading edge ventilation design. A special focus will be made on multifamily buildings up to six stories, but all building types will be addressed.
