October: Glen Greer – The importance of humidification and the benefits of humidifying with evaporative media ii. November: Tour of the Saskatoon Waste water treatment plant iii. December: Past Presidents Night – Christmas Social iv January: Kyle – Hydronics and condensing boilers v. February: Michael Nemeth – Passive house vi. March: Ron Wilkinson – commissioning new and existing buildings vii. April: Ian Slinger – Hydronic water quality viii. May: Dennis will present on personal integrated management system b. Research Promotion – Michael Nemeth - Michael would like to thank everyone who donated to get us to $2,090.00 of our $12,000.00 goal this year. - Research Promotion donations go towards updating the ASHRAE handbook, research grants and maintain ASHRAE standards. e. Membership Promotion – Mohammad Afshin - No report. f. Student Activities –Greg Scrivener - No report. g. CTTC – Pierre Andre-Ranger - Jan 20th Emerson is holding a free data centre design course. - Pierre would like to encourage everyone to attend the CRC technical sessions this year. h. Refrigeration - Greg Scrivener - No report. i. Awards – Jonathan Bushman - No report k. Young Engineers of ASHRAE (YEA) - Bradie Preiss - No report. l. CRC – Ryan McGillivray - ASHRAE Saskatoon will be hosting this year’s CRC for the Saskatoon chapter’s 50th anniversary. - Technical session speakers are Dennis Knight, Tim Wentz and Charles Gulledge. - CRC events will be held on Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14th. - The CRC wind-up event will be the Prairie Lily River Cruise. - ASHRAE Saskatoon is looking of sponsors for this year’s CRC, please contact Ryan if you are interested. - A tradeshow is being considered during the CRC if anyone is interested in having a booth at the show please let Ryan or anyone on the CRC committee know. 4.
