posted Sep 25, 2014, 3:35 PM by ASHRAE Saskatoon
In May 2015 the City of Saskatoon is hosting a meeting of Canadian researchers in the field of net zero buildings and we are currently looking for speakers that can provide brief presentations (e.g. 15-30 minutes) on Saskatchewan projects. Typically the attendance is 100-150 people from Canadian Universities and industry, with the majority of participants being engineering professors and graduate students.

If you have any ideas for possible speakers please contact Chris Richards (chris.richards@saskatoon.ca) with the City of Saskatoon. The primary themes of the research network are:

Projects that would be of interest could include integration of solar energy with heat pumps, long term thermal storage, active building envelope systems (e.g. building integrated photovoltaics or solar air heating), demand management using controls, advanced heat recovery systems, solar cooling, phase change materials, solar community design, etc.

Please note that it is a closed meeting for the network partners, not a conference that is open for public registration.
